The Ben Gurion Heritage Institute Stamp

The stamp issued August 2004, sets Ben Gurion’s portrait against the white, streamlined frame of the “Ben Gurion Heritage Institute” blending into the arid Negev background. Construction of the Ben Gurion Heritage Institute was authorised by the Knesset (Jewish Parliament) in 1976, for “the commemoration of Ben Gurion’s work and perpetuation of his legacy in the coming generations.” The souvenir sheet was issued in August, 2004. The souvenir sheet together with an information sheet are enclosed in a plastic protection sheet.
