Memorial Day 1997, Fallen of the Logistics Corps Stamp

The Logistics or Quartermaster Corps is a branch of military science directly responsible for the calculations and organisation of supplies, movement and transport of the body of troops in the Israeli Defence Forces. Its purpose is to provide these services to all levels of the fighting units so that they can carry out their duties with a minimum of distraction or hindrance.
