Centenary of Villages Atlit, Givat-Ada, Kfar Saba Stamp
Issued in June 2003, the “Atlit” stamp depicts the village, landscape, sea, ancient fortress and pools of the salt company. On the tab the local council emblem and a drawing of the first bulding constructed at Atlit are shown. The “Givat-Ada” stamp gives an impression of the village and landscape with a drawing of an ancient water pump on the tab, with the local council logo. The “Kfar-Saba” stamp features the ancient “Khan” municipality, and other modern buildings. On the tab is a drawing of the first building of the town with the council logo. All three stamp-drawings are after historic photographs. These villages were founded by the Jewish Colonization Association in 1903 at the end of the First Aliyah.
