The Baha’i World Centre Stamp
On this stamp the oriental marble structure and wall motifs of the Baha’i Faith Administrative Headquarters Buildings are displayed. This large, developing complex is located on the slopes of Mt. Carmel, where is also a mausoleum, surmounted by a golden dome which has become Haifa’s landmark. The Baha’i faith is an independent religion, which regards all world religions as equally valid stages in the progressive revelation of God’s will and promotes the principles of harmony between science and religion and the establishment of a world government, amongst others. It is significant that Mt. Carmel has been in the past the scene of the contest between the true worship of Yahweh and false religions.
The souvenir sheet was issued in February, 1993. The souvenir sheet together with an information sheet are enclosed in a plastic protection sheet.
