The series describes the beliefs of the Christadelphians, and tells the stories of ten children who left their parents and fled from Germany via the Kindertransport. Some came to live with Christadelphians, whilst others lived in Elpis Lodge, the hostel sponsored by Christadelphians in Birmingham.
